In the past, it was customary for major luxury brands to showcase their High Jewelry collections during Paris Couture fashion week, usually held around the fourth of July. However, this year, things have changed, and jewelry brands are opting to exhibit their exquisite pieces in glamorous cities across the Western world.
Bulgari was among the first to present its magnificent collection, hosting a two-day event in Paris called Bvlgari Eden: The Garden of Wonders. The collection features over 140 stunning jewels and watches.
Thirty of Bulgari’s creations spotlight emeralds, a gemstone that has been a centerpiece of their masterpieces for many years. Among these is the showstopper Emerald Glory, a magnificent bib necklace that can transform into a tiara. The piece made its debut in a brand video featuring Zendaya, directed by Paolo Sorrentino and co-starring Anne Hathaway.
The creation of Emerald Glory took Bulgari’s craftsmen over 3,000 hours. It showcases eleven pear-shaped emeralds and over 220 carats of diamonds.
In Paris, the jewels were showcased in captivating displays surrounded by floral arrangements created by Japanese artist Azuma Makoto. The collection included alluring Serpenti necklaces adorned with colossal gems, as well as various interpretations of nature.
For an extravagant evening event at the Italian Embassy, Bulgari Group CEO Jean-Christophe Babin was joined by several brand ambassadors, including Anne Hathaway, Lalisa (aka LISA), and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, all adorned with pieces from the collection.
During the evening event, the collection was unveiled through a fashion show featuring models, followed by a delightful four-hands dinner. Later, model and singer Carla Bruni took the stage alongside Italian singer Mario Biondi for a special duet performance.
The night ended with a lively DJ set by Mia Moretti, while guests took to the dance floor to celebrate.
