Hints of Spring Emerged at The Winter Show Despite the Season

New York City’s Staten Island Chuck did not see his shadow yesterday, indicating an early arrival of spring for those who believe in the groundhog’s predictions.

In the world of jewelry, our contributing photographer Andrew Werner spotted early signs of Spring during his visit to the 69th Edition of The Winter Show. The show was held at the Park Avenue Armory on Manhattan’s Upper East Side from January 20 – 29. With his keen eye and trusty camera, he captured stunning images of flowers, frogs, and even a cute caterpillar, alongside some incredibly dazzling gem-set jewels.

Learn more about the exquisite pieces Andrew photographed exclusively for The Adventurine from Simon Teakle, Kentshire, and A La Vieille Russie. These jewelers were among the 68 exhibitors from 10 countries at the 10-day fair, which benefits the East Side House Settlement, a community-based organization serving the Bronx and northern Manhattan.
